Felicia began at Southern in March of 2019 as our Coldwater Branch Manager. Felicia also manages our East Chicago branch at 441 E. Chicago Street in Coldwater. Felicia attended Indiana State University and earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Criminology. Felicia brings with her 10 years of banking experience as well.

Hillsdale Regional Branch Manager
Jennifer joined Southern in January of 2017, bringing with her over 17 years experience in banking. Jennifer has served in numerous positions in the financial industry, including Retail Loan Officer and Customer Service Manager before becoming Branch Manager for the Hillsdale branch here at Southern. She also serves as Treasurer for Pioneer Friends of the Library, and volunteers with the Music Boosters at North Central Schools, and the Pioneer Summer Recreation department.

Tina began at Southern in February of 2013. Tina attended Spring Arbor University where she earned her Bachelor's degree in Organizational Management. Tina also received her Branch Manager's Certification in 2014 from the Michigan Banker's Association, and graduated from the Perry School of Banking in 2016. Tina manages both our Constantine and Centreville branches and volunteers her time in the community. Tina sits on the St. Joseph County United Way Board, as well as the Centreville Downtown Development Association Board, and is a member of the Constantine Rotary Club.

Kelsey joined Southern in 2012 as a Teller, advancing on to become a Universal Banker where she was able to assist customers in additional capacities. Kelsey earned her Associate's degree in General Studies from Glen Oaks Community College. Kelsey was promoted to Branch Manager in early 2019 and is looking forward to retaining and growing relationships in the Three Rivers area.
Union City Branch Manger
Elizabeth joined Southern in March of 2019 as a part time Teller at the Coldwater Main Branch. Elizabeth has held positions as a full time Teller, Universal Banker, Customer Sales, and Teller Supervisor. In December of 2021, Elizabeth was promoted to her most recent position as Union City Branch Manager. She is excited to be involved in the Union City community.

Kara Mead manages our Marshall Office and also services customers as a Commercial Loan Officer. Kara began at Southern in December of 2014 and brings with her twenty three years of banking experience. She studied Business Management and has been the recipient of several banking awards recognizing her excellent customer service skills, sales growth and profitability, and leadership in employee management. Kara also volunteers her time in the community serving as Treasurer for the Marshall Exchange Club, Member of the Calhoun County 4-H Council, and volunteers for the Marshall United Way Halloween Hustle.
Jackson Branch Manager
Sara Walz has been in banking for over seven years, most recently as Personal Banker II. She has also served as New Accounts/Customer Service representative and as Lead Teller/Personal Banker. Outside of work, she is an active member of 100 Women Who Care in Jackson. Walz studied at Jackson College after graduating from Western High School.

Doreen has been with Southern for over 28 years. She attended Glen Oaks Community College where she earned her Associates degree in Business. Doreen has also graduated from the Perry School of Banking and the Perry School of Lending through the Michigan Banker's Association. She also attended Mortgage U where she received education and training in Mortgage lending. Doreen volunteers her time with the Mendon Downtown Development Authority, as well as Friends of the Mendon Library.
Vice President Battle Creek Branch Manager
Lisa joined Southern in October of 2012 as our Battle Creek Branch Manager. Lisa attended Kellogg Community College and Northern Michigan University for education in Accounting and Business Management. Lisa received her Branch Manager's Certification from the Michigan Banker's Association in 2008, and has been in banking industry for over 21 years. Lisa also volunteers at multiple community events in her free time, and is currently a Board member of Community Action, and the Salvation Army in Battle Creek. She truly enjoys being part of the community and giving back. Lisa also serves as a member of the Battle Creek Rotary Club and her staff at the Battle Creek office regularly attend community events to make a difference.
Centreville Branch Manager
Jennifer joined Southern in May of 2008 as a Part Time Float Teller, soon advancing onto Full Time Teller, Teller Supervisor, and her most recent position as Assistant Branch Manager. Jennifer serves on the St. Joseph County United Way Board and is working towards getting on the Centreville DDA Board.
