For more than 150 years, community has been at the heart of SMBT. Each year, our team looks forward to the opportunity to step away from our desks, roll up our sleeves, and give back to the communities we’re proud to serve.

During our annual Community Service Day, SMBT volunteers spread out across our communities to support local organizations, lend a helping hand, and make a positive impact. From cleaning up parks and helping refresh community spaces to supporting classrooms, shelters, food pantries, animal rescues, and more, our team was grateful for the chance to serve alongside so many incredible organizations.

We’re thankful for the volunteers, nonprofits, and community leaders who dedicate their time and energy every day to making our communities stronger. It was inspiring to see the difference that can be made when people come together with a shared purpose.
