The SMBT Team Cleans Fair Booths and Works at the Hope Café During the Branch County Fair

Southern Michigan Bank & Trust proudly partnered with the Hope Café Booth at the Branch County Fair, where team members volunteered their time to clean fair booths in preparation for the event and helped run the Hope Café throughout the fair. This initiative was in collaboration with the Branch County Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence (BCCADSV), a vital organization dedicated to supporting survivors and raising awareness about domestic and sexual violence.

BCCADSV offers a wide range of services, including 24/7 crisis hotlines, emergency shelters such as The Naomi Davis Shelterhouse and Laura’s Place, and educational programs aimed at prevention and community engagement. Their tireless work ensures that individuals in crisis have access to safety, support, and hope.

SMBT is also proud to continue its support of the Branch County Fair, through corporate sponsorship and the purchase of 4-H animals. Our involvement reflects a longstanding commitment to youth development, agricultural education, and community engagement.

At SMBT, we believe in the power of community and the importance of standing with those who advocate for safety and healing. We are honored to support BCCADSV and the Branch County Fair and look forward to future collaborations.
